I have shared several many times about my faith - it grows stronger by the day! I do enjoy my coffee over the Verse of the Day from the Bible App. I am also using the Bible Study Plans they offer. Currently studying with “Through the Word” - a narrated by Peyton Jones (also the writer and founder.) It is very well done plan that walks you through the whole bible at your own pace. The narrator does an exceptional job of explaining the meaning of each chapter and verse. If you are like me, I need it all explained!
Anyway, another thing I was listening to - I have discovered this really neat Bible! Now, I grew up under the “YOU NEVER WRITE IN A BOOK” mindset. Thus, I would not be inclined to write in a Bible. Here is a Bible that you are SUPPOSED TO WRITE AND DRAW IN! Who Loves to color? Being an artist….. that’s easy, ME! I have done a whole bunch of Faith Based / liturgical type paintings. I often get an image in my head during bible study and now I can sketch it in my BIBLE!
Check this one out! It is the Tyndale Inspire Bible I bought it like other stuff, through Amazon.
I have a place for “Inspired Images or I call them Downloads” - that I can paint later. Color theirs, or there are places to make notes and sketch!
Another twist on a favorite pastime. Who could turn down time to explore the word and color all at one time? Needless to say, I will be making this the new Bible of choice when I sit down in the word.
Sight and Sound Theaters
This theater company has the MOST AMAZING SETS! We have watched a whole bunch of their plays right from the comfort of our couch. You can stream them, perhaps rent them? Not sure. TBN - Trinity Broadcast Network - There is TBN, TBN Plus, TBN Israel (where we watch several programs regarding what is currently going on over there) Boots On the Ground with Yair is excellent; highly recommend it. But - is streaming this one as part of programing Tonight!
Sight & Sound: Jonah (Trailer) - TBN Plus - We saw it once, but it is so good we will tune in tonight again.
Sight & Sound Theaters - explore their link. They have a couple locations for the plays, but they also have a page for TV Streaming.
Have you ever gone to a Play or Streamed any of their shows?
I look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers,
Debra
